It looks like they crawled to this gate. You can't see any trails because these bones look quite old, but you can see that their leg bones are shattered at knees. Their ribs are also missing. After removing the finger bones, their arms clatter to the ground.

Actually, Djarra is unable to push through the rusted gates. They won't budge. However, they do look quite unstable that perhaps someone could knock them over.
