"Camp sounds like a better option, no point arriving to weak to hold our blades."
I begin to unpack my supplies and gather sticks for a crude fire

You set up a pretty makeshift camp, with bedrolls around the decently sized fire that you are able to make. Every once in a while through various sounds of snoring and the crackling fire a couple of you who may be lighter sleepers can hear unusual sounds off in the forest. Due to the darkness and the overall brush of the forest, you can't make out what is creating the noise but it doesn't seem to be moving in your direction.

Since Djarra is a medium to heavy sleeper the sounds in the forest trigger dreams of hunting, cooking and eating game, he starts muttering in his sleep about over cooked rabbit and succulent duck, occasionally smacking his lips

Due to Verna upbringing she sleeps deeply only moving to put her blanket back on her whenever she rolls it off.

With Sanya being a light sleeper she hears the strange noise in the forest and she also hears mumbling coming from djarra so she quietly gets up to investigate on what's making the strange sounds in the forest

Not too far from the camp is a patch of brush that is moving and the sounds are coming from there as far as Sanya can tell. Looking a bit closer and now that you have actually moved towards the bushes, you can see that it is a small, black and white owlbear cub. It looks quite young, you estimate it to stand only about 3 feet high even though it is sitting down currently letting out the cries that you heard earlier. It's foot appears to be caught in a sort of bear trap. It doesn't seem to notice your presence.

Seeing the bear cubs paw caught I quickly try to comfort it and help it get it's paw out of the beartrap it is caught in

It fends you off at first, using it's beak and claws to swipe at you but due to some calming words it relaxes enough for you to free it's leg from the trap. It scampers off into the woods and so you return to camp after that to get more sleep. However, because you are a light sleeper, it isn't long before you see the owlbear cub approaching you at the camp. But instead of attacking you, it simply falls to a halt near your bedroll and sleeps.

Other than that, the night passes quite peacefully. The group wakes up shortly before noon stretching out and taking care of any morning routines they may want to take care of. Before they handle the owlbear cub resting at Sanya's feet.

After finishing my morning routine and noticing the owlbear I look at Sanya
"good job Sanya, I see you managed to find us some breakfast, a young owlbear, should be nice and tender
