Nidhogg rises up, holding a hand to his wounds and gripping his sword tightly with the other. He charges with a blinding speed at the gnoll, intent to run him through once more with his blade.

The gnoll glares at the 4 of you, growling something in a language you can't quite understand. He throws a greataxe at Sanya, his second greataxe at Deamon, and fills his fist with psionic energy to punch Nidhogg.

Djarra focuses his power into another attack, light once again start gathering in his hands, when he releases the spell a many-colored light erupts from his hand and streaks right for the gnoll's head screaming as it cuts through the air

As the multi colored lights strike the gnoll, his eyes roll back into his head and he collapses, heaping over on the ground a very bloody mess.

The wooden buildings have all but turned to ash, collapsing onto themselves and burning away. The only standing building is the large stone one. Upon entering, you see several weapon racks that contain a few items of interest. The first is a scimitar with a blade looking of polished silver, that reflects even the tiniest amount of light with a great brilliance. The second item of interest is a long sword, with an ornate looking hilt and a black blade. Nidhogg notices the black blade and starts acting out with the excitedness of a child. "Oh wow! This is quite the find. This is one of the 12 supreme grade swords in the world. This particular blade has been known to cut through anything, including the impervious hide of the oldest dragons."
As Nidhogg gives off a history lesson that no one really listens to, Djarra and Zni walk up the stairs to find a very strange sight. The room itself looks pretty standard for someone of arcane standings, but in a chair near an alchemy table is a skeleton wearing a crown. In the skeletons hands is a rod that looks like it is made from obsidian. You can tell that some hellish magic flows from it. Leaning against the wall near the table is a finely crafted Ebony staff with a purple crystal attached to the top of it. The crystal seems to give off a different arcane reading every few seconds, changing colors as it does. Changing from purple to blue, blue to green, green to yellow, yellow to red, and red to puple.
Across the room is a more formal looking table, with various ink quills on top of it. The only item of interest on the desk is a letter with the seal of a Raven overlaid on a crescent moon, addressed to Lord Rayleigh.
There are also several crates around the room, most of which contain simple items like food and water which is all strangely unspoiled. However, in one crate there is a large amount of uncut gems as well as a small bag that seems magical.

Djara walks over to the staff, picking it up almost reverantly and admires it a few moments before turning towards the crate of uncut gems and the bag. He examines the bag before starting to place the gems into it and moving onto the food after that

The bag is a small sized bag of holding. It already holds about 2,000 gold coins before you start stuffing gems in there which you can modestly appraise to be worth an extra 1,000 gold of they were cut and fenced out.

Do you grab the letter as well? Or do you grab the things like food and some of the gems that wouldn't fit. I mean, there is still some dried meats that wouldn't fit with all the treasure Djarra stuffed the bag full because a small bag of holding only holds about 100 pounds of weight. Plus, in addition to what was in there already, there was a few vials containing some golden liquids.

No, the vials were in the bag of holding you fool. But do you read the letter? Or are you saving it for later. I also wouldn't normally say it but there is the crown as well if you are feeling brave. Someone might get the wrong idea though.
